🎉 Celebrating Our Pioneers! ❤️

As we kick off another exciting school year, here's a quick reminder for both our returning and new Pioneer families!

One of our favorite things to do is celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our students. Whether it's athletics, fine arts, clubs, organizations, academics, or other activities, our goal is to consistently showcase the great things happening across Gentry Public Schools so every student group has the opportunity to be recognized throughout the year.

Our coaches, sponsors, and group leaders help make that possible by sharing events, photos, results, and accomplishments with the district. While we love celebrating our students whenever possible, not every event or accomplishment can be featured. Our goal is to provide meaningful recognition to all of our student groups over the course of the year.

If there's ever an event or accomplishment you'd like us to be aware of, we encourage you to start by sharing it with your student's coach, sponsor, or group leader if it's connected to a school-sponsored team, club, or activity. For accomplishments outside of school-sponsored activities—such as community, civic, travel team, pageant, or other independent achievements that make our Pioneers proud—feel free to share those directly with our Director of Community Engagement, Mark Scott, for consideration.

At Gentry Public Schools, we value open communication and strong partnerships with our families. If you ever have a question, suggestion, or concern, we encourage you to start by reaching out to the person or school closest to the situation—whether that's your child's teacher, coach, sponsor, principal, or another staff member. Direct communication helps ensure accurate information is shared, questions are answered, and solutions can be found as quickly as possible.

Thank you for partnering with us as we celebrate our students and the outstanding things happening throughout Gentry Public Schools.

THANK YOU for choosing Gentry! We are so glad you are here! Go Pioneers! ❤️

📱 Stay Connected with Rooms This School Year!

As we prepare for another great year at Gentry Public Schools, we wanted to share a quick reminder about Rooms, a feature within the Gentry Pioneers App that was introduced last school year.

Think of Rooms as the part of our communication system designed specifically for teachers, coaches, sponsors, and school staff. It brings together the day-to-day communication that previously took place through tools like Remind, GroupMe, Cut Time, and TalkingPoints—all in one convenient place.

Through Rooms, you can expect messages such as:

✅ Classroom announcements and reminders
✅ Practice schedules and game updates
✅ Club and activity information
✅ Messages from teachers, coaches, sponsors, and staff

Important information such as weather closings, district announcements, and messages from school administrators will continue to be delivered through the Gentry Pioneers App and our existing district communication channels. Rooms is simply the section of our communication platform dedicated to your student's classrooms, teams, clubs, and activities.

If you haven't activated your account yet, now is a great time! Simply open the Gentry Pioneers App and activate Rooms using the phone number on file with your child's school. If you need help or didn't receive an invitation, please contact your child's school office or visit the Rooms Support Center: https://www.gentrypioneers.com/o/gps/page/rooms-support

We look forward to another outstanding year and appreciate your partnership in keeping our Pioneer families connected!

🥎 Congratulations to Gentry Lady Pioneer Jamee Kirk! ❤️🖤

We are proud to congratulate rising senior Jamee Kirk on her commitment to continue her education and softball career at Central Baptist College in Conway following her graduation in 2027!

Jamee's commitment is a testament to the dedication and work ethic she has displayed throughout her high school career. Her relentless effort has helped her develop into one of the Lady Pioneers' most dependable players and earned her the opportunity to compete at the next level.

"Our coaching staff is so excited for Jamee and her commitment to CBC!" said Head Softball Coach Shawn Teters. "She is one of the hardest workers on our team and has improved every year. We are ready to see her lead our team this year as a senior and set the example for our younger girls!"

At Central Baptist College, Jamee will join the Mustangs, who compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as members of the American Midwest Conference (AMC).

Congratulations, Jamee! We can't wait to watch you lead the Lady Pioneers this season before continuing your academic and athletic journey at the collegiate level.

⚽️ Summer work is paying off for our Gentry Lady Pioneers!

Today, the Lady Pioneers competed in the Har-Ber Lady Wildcat Team Camp in Springdale, facing strong competition from Har-Ber, Harrison, Alma, Branson (Missouri), and Republic (Missouri).

Team camps like this are a great opportunity to sharpen skills, build chemistry, and compete against quality opponents. Throughout the day, our Lady Pioneers earned plenty of valuable reps, found the back of the net often, and continued working on the little things that will make a big difference when the new season begins.

Every practice. Every match. Every rep. Getting better. ❤️🖤⚽️ #GoPioneers #GentryProud #LadyPioneers #GentrySoccer #PrepRally #PrepSoccer
