Vision & Mission Overview
At Gentry Public Schools, we prioritize communication, safety, and service to our families. We strive to be the Chick-fil-A of schools—putting students first and serving our community with kindness, consistency, and care.
We believe communication is a two-way street. We work hard to make information available in clear and accessible ways, but communication is only as strong as the willingness to engage with it. We can’t force anyone to receive it, but we invite you to meet us halfway. Some information isn’t ready to be shared yet, and some matters are confidential. And sometimes, we may simply fall short. If you have a question and can’t find the answer, please reach out directly—we’re always happy to help. Click here to learn more about how we communicate.
Safety is also a top priority. From secured entries to dedicated school resource officers, we are deeply committed to keeping our students and staff safe every day. Click here to view our safety efforts.
We are here to serve, but putting kids first doesn’t always mean the answer will be yes. We are committed to following our policies with fairness and consistency in every situation. Even if the outcome isn’t what you hoped for, you can count on us to be kind, respectful, and professional—and we expect the same in return. If emotions run high, we will take appropriate steps to keep things calm and constructive, always working toward a solution.
At the end of the day, please know this: we care deeply about every student and every family in our district. We are honored to walk alongside you in raising the next generation—and we’ll keep putting kids first every single day. Find out more below.
