Parent Student Handbook Overview
The Parent-Student Handbook is a valuable resource that outlines expectations, procedures, and daily operations across Gentry Public Schools. It includes district-wide policies followed by campus-specific sections, all in one convenient document. While it doesn’t cover every possible situation, it provides guidance for common questions and scenarios during school hours and school-sponsored events. Principals may use their judgment in matters not specifically addressed. Parents and guardians are expected to be familiar with the handbook—whether or not every section has been read—and we recommend using the “Control + F” (or “Command + F” on a Mac) feature to quickly find specific terms. We hope this helps families stay informed and engaged.

Please note: the FAQ is meant to provide general guidance only. In the case of any differences or inconsistencies, the handbook is the official and controlling document.
