This week's teacher spotlight is Jennifer Pierce, District Math Multi-Classroom Leader. Mrs. Pierce also supports novice and math teachers throughout the district, teachers in LEADS Gentry, and directly supports all teacher leadership positions districtwide. She is amazing, and we are so proud to have her in the Pioneer Family. Thank you, Mrs. Pierce!

This week we want to recognize Benton County Sharing and Caring and the tremendous support they give to the Pioneer Family. BCSC recently funded scholarships for student certifications to Gentry High School. They have also opened up applications for Christmas support. Thank you for everything you do to help the families and students in Gentry Public Schools!

September is College Savings month. To learn more about possible ways to fund college for your children, contact your school counselor.

Flu season is coming!

Dear Parents and Students,
We’ve received some reports of concerns regarding crosswalk safety. It’s important that we all work together to ensure the safety of our students who walk to and from school. Please remember:
👣 Students: Always use designated crosswalks. Jaywalking can be dangerous, so let’s make safety a priority by crossing at marked areas only.
🚗 Drivers: Please be extra vigilant and come to a full stop at crosswalks. Our children’s safety depends on it!
Let’s keep our community safe by respecting the rules of the road. Thank you for your attention and cooperation!
