GENTRY, AR — Gentry High School senior Jamee Kirk has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Central Baptist College in Conway, where she will play softball following her graduation in 2027.
Kirk's commitment reflects years of dedication to her sport and a relentless work ethic that has made her a leader within the Lady Pioneer softball program. Throughout her high school career, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving her skills while serving as a positive example for her teammates.
"Our coaching staff is so excited for Jamee and her commitment to CBC," said Gentry High School Head Softball Coach Shawn Teters. "She is one of the hardest workers on our team and has improved every year. We are ready to see her lead our team this year as a senior and set the example for our younger girls."
Kirk becomes the fourth member of Gentry's Class of 2027 softball team to announce a college commitment, highlighting the continued success of the Lady Pioneer program in preparing student-athletes for opportunities at the next level. The Lady Pioneers won the 2026 4A-1 Regional Tournament and advanced to the second round of the State Tournament this past season.
At Central Baptist College, Kirk will join the Mustangs softball program, which competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a member of the American Midwest Conference.
Gentry Public Schools congratulates Jamee on this exciting achievement and looks forward to watching her lead the Lady Pioneers during her senior season before continuing her academic and athletic journey at Central Baptist College.
