GENTRY, AR — Spring is in the air, and students at Gentry High School FFA are preparing to welcome the community to their highly anticipated annual plant sale.
After months of hands-on work in the greenhouse, plant science and other agriculture students are ready to showcase a wide variety of plants grown as part of their coursework. The event not only highlights their efforts but also serves as a key fundraiser to support future educational opportunities.
The sale will begin on April 15 with a preview day open exclusively to FFA families and Gentry School faculty. It will then open to the public on April 16 and 17, running from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The greenhouse, located behind Gentry High School, will be filled with a diverse selection of plants suitable for gardens, landscaping, and home décor.
Every purchase directly benefits students by funding hands-on learning experiences, including agricultural projects, leadership development, and participation in FFA events.
Community members are encouraged to attend, support local students, and take home something green just in time for the growing season. Additional details about plant selections are expected to be released next week.
