GENTRY, AR — Families in the area now have the opportunity to enroll their children for the upcoming school year as kindergarten registration officially opens at Gentry Primary School. And the state's School Choice program means anyone can register their child to be a Pioneer -- not just those who live in Gentry.
Families can register their soon-to-be kindergartener here.
School officials say their kindergarten program is designed to provide a strong foundation for young learners in a supportive and engaging environment. Kindergarten classrooms at the school focus on early academic skills while also encouraging social development, creativity, and exploration.
“We’re proud to offer a place where students can grow, learn, and feel welcomed from day one,” Primary School Principal Andrea Folger said. “Our goal is to create an environment filled with learning, laughter, and discovery.”
The school also recently highlighted one of its educators, kindergarten teacher Michelle Jech, who was featured in the district’s “Good Things are Happening in Gentry” series -- an initiative that showcases positive stories and student outcomes -- and the teachers and staff making a difference in students’ lives.
Gentry Primary School encourages all families with kindergarten-aged children to register as soon as possible. Administrators emphasize that enrollment is open to families regardless of where they live, highlighting school choice options that allow students outside district boundaries to attend.
Parents and guardians can complete the registration process online or contact the school directly for assistance.
