FBLA

Gentry Middle School students earned multiple top finishes at the 2026 District I Spring Leadership Conference, this week in Fort Smith, qualifying several competitors for the State Leadership Conference in April.

Students competed in a variety of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) events focused on leadership, business knowledge, and real-world skills. Their strong performances placed Gentry Middle School among the district’s most successful programs at the conference.

Student results include:

  • Middle School FBLA: Jordyn Harper, 1st place

  • Exploring Website Design: Ainsley Coslett and Emily Cantrell, 3rd place

  • Exploring Business Issues: Lillian Gargone, 1st place

  • Exploring Parliamentary Procedure: Ellie Scribner, 2nd place

  • Exploring FBLA: Hadley Womack, 3rd place

  • Exploring Leadership: Cynthia Hoplight, 4th place

  • Digital Citizenship: Mattox Scholes, 4th place

  • Exploring Accounting and Finance: Chloe Stamps, 2nd place

Students who placed advanced to the FBLA State Leadership Conference, where they will compete against peers from across Arkansas.

School officials praised the students’ dedication and preparation, noting that FBLA provides opportunities for middle school students to build leadership skills, explore career interests, and apply classroom learning in competitive settings.

The State Leadership Conference is scheduled for April.
