GENTRY, AR — Gentry Primary School hosted its wildly popular annual Color Run this week, bringing together students, families, and the community for a day full of fun, fitness, and vibrant colors — all in support of student enrichment.

This year’s event was a tremendous success, raising $18,000 to support special activities and events organized by the school’s Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The funds will be used to enhance student experiences throughout the school year.

The Color Run, a highlight of the school calendar, allows students to run along a designated path while being safely sprayed with colorful bursts of powder. The event is a favorite among students, who enjoy the bright colors, physical activity, and energetic atmosphere.

"We want to thank all our parents, grandparents, relatives, and caregivers of our students who encouraged the event and supported our kids," said Andrea Folger, Principal of Gentry Primary School. "It's such a fun and amazing event each year for our kids and our community."

The event was made possible through the generous support of local businesses and community sponsors, including:

  • Tucker Chiropractic

  • Browers Industrial Maintenance

  • Pioneer Automotive Wholesale

  • Chips Law and Mediation

  • Diamond C Construction

  • Ozark Concrete

  • Big Boys Construction

  • Parkers Heating and Air

  • Browser Steel Erectors

  • Grand Savings Bank

Gentry Primary School and the PTO extend heartfelt thanks to all who contributed time, resources, and encouragement to make the Color Run a joyful and meaningful experience for students.
