Graduation

GENTRY, AR — Gentry High School proudly honored the Class of 2025 during its annual commencement ceremony at Bill George Arena on the campus of John Brown University Sunday. The ceremony marked an important milestone as students officially joined the ever-growing and proud family of Gentry alumni.

“We are incredibly proud of our graduates and the journey they’ve taken to reach this day,” said Principal Justin Blanchard. “It’s not only a celebration of academic achievement, but of perseverance, growth, and the strong community that surrounds our students.”

In a time-honored tradition, each of the 130 graduates began the event by presenting a rose to a loved one in the audience — a symbolic gesture of gratitude and recognition for the support of family throughout their educational journey.

Makenzie Riley was the class Valedictorian while Jesse Dominguez earned recognition as the Salutatorian. Senior class officers were Olyvia Freed and Sareth Tovar. Faculty class sponsors were Kari Cantrell and Alishia Ramsey.

The Gentry School District extends its sincere thanks to the senior class sponsors, faculty, staff, choir, band, and all those who contributed to making this day so meaningful for students and their families.
