GHS Boys Explore New Careers with NWACC
Gentry High School is attending a career exploration program for boys on March 29th. The conference will be hosted by NWACC and will have speakers, interactive workshops, as well as a panel discussion run by male entrepreneurs.
The conference will be divided into three different breakout sessions for different time slots. The different options to choose from will be Business and Technology, Bike Tech and Trails, Communications and Art, Construction, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Health Professions, and Plumbing/Electrical/HVAC.
The conference will have lunch provided for those in the program. The conference will only be able to have 15 boys at its maximum, so if students would like to sign up, be sure to sign up fast. If students would like to sign up for the conference, a Google form was posted on each student’s corresponding Google Classroom for their grade.
Ms. Fullmer, Gentry High School career coach, said, “Any boys who are interested in attending the career conference, please see the flyer on Google Classroom.”
