CJ Taylor Playing Baseball at the Next Level
On Wednesday, May 11, senior CJ Taylor signed to play baseball at Connors State College in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
According to Connors State’s website, their coach is one of the most consistently winning coaches in NJCAA baseball history; Coach Perry Keith has amassed an unbelievable record of 1,375 wins and just 399 losses in 28 years as head coach at Connors State College.
“I’m ready for some more competition at a higher level,” Taylor said.
He’s very excited to further his baseball career. Connors State College has always been the college he wanted to go to.
One of his goals going to Connors State College is to start as a freshman. Taylor plans on becoming a teacher and coaching.
“I have been fortunate to coach some of the greatest kids since I’ve been here in Gentry. I’m so proud of all my guys, but this year I had the privilege to watch three of my kids sign to play at the next level,” Coach Justin Ledbetter said.
Good luck to CJ in this next inning of his life!
