Morris Signs with ATU
April 15, 2016, senior Mallory Morris signed with Arkansas Tech University at 11:30 a.m. Morris. Throughout all four years of high school, Morris was involved in sports and many different extracurricular activities. She has participated in basketball, cross country, track, FCA, Youth Alive, choir, NHS, forensics, and FBLA.
Arkansas Tech University, rooted in Russellville, Arkansas, offered Mallory a full-ride scholarship if she would come run for their cross country team. She has excelled on Gentry’s own cross country team and is going to take it to the next level.
When asked about the signing, Morris told us, “I feel so blessed to have this awesome opportunity and to be able to continue doing what I love at the next level. I am so thankful for all of the people that helped make my signing a success and that came to support me. I decided to sign with Tech because they have a strong cross country program, my field of stuff. Russellville is a great town and the full-ride is a pretty good deal as well.”
Gentry Pioneers wish Mallory Morris the best of luck!
