Fresh Start to New Season
The first track meet went quite smoothly for the junior high Pioneers. It was just a practice meet, so there weren’t any official scores or places; however, there were a lot of first place winners for the Pioneers.
Freshman Brett Jackson, along with several others, participated in the pole vault. Jackson finished first for the Pioneers with a jump of 11 feet. When asked about how he felt about what he had done he responded, “I was very excited about jumping what I did and I can’t wait for the rest of the year.”
Freshman Adrian Ramirez also finished first in the 100, 200, and 2nd in the pole vault. Along with several other Pioneers, the junior high team had a pretty good night.
The junior high Pioneers will head to Siloam Springs on March 8th for their next meet.
