Fundraising
|
Cookie Dough |
| Gentry FBLA worked with Fasco, Inc.
to sell tubs of frozen cookie dough. Our profits from this venture
were over $4,200. We were so pleased with the end result of
this fundraiser that we plan on participating for years to come. |

Razorback
Football/Basketball Games |
| Gentry FBLA contracted
through Sodexho to work concession stands at the Arkansas Razorback home football and
basketball games. This fundraiser was rather disappointing but our
members gained valuable business experience. Ms. Brady, our advisor,
recruited members, parents, and other volunteers to man the
concession stands. This labor intensive endeavor took a great deal
of team work to accomplish. |

Printing
Services |
| Throughout the year FBLA
offers our services and equipment to help other organizations in
Gentry High School. This year we created the Benton County Basketball Tournament
Program, which was hosted at GHS, and the GHS Choir Dinner Show
Program. FBLA receives a percentage of the program sales. This was an
excellent fundraiser as well as great experience for
the members who create the programs. |

Pop and Cake
Sale |
| Gentry FBLA had the opportunity to
sell Coke products and Little Debbie snack cakes to students. Coke
products aren't offered regularly at GHS so we felt confident that
the demand would be high. During lunch hour, members set up a table and served the entire student
body. Sales were at a all time high, right before the plunge of
11:40 a.m. when we ran all out of beverages. |
