Pioneer Golf Advances On…..

The Gentry Pioneers finished well in the 1-AAAA Golf Districts today at the Valley View Country Club.  Ben Sarratt had his best round of golf this year scoring a 76.  This put him as the 2nd place medalist overall.  Ben and Thomas Helt will advance to the Regional Tournament in two weeks.  The tournament will be at the Lions Den Country Club in Dardanelle.  Thomas in his first year qualified as the 6th place individual.  Robbie White and Kevin Scherer completed the boys team that came in 4^th place overall. 

Kelsea Whitten came through again with a 101.  This put her tied for the 3^rd place medalist overall.  She was only 4 strokes out of 2^nd place. Jade Shawver for the second year in a row qualifies for the Regional Tournament.  Jessica Jech and Taylor Holland completed the girls team that finished in 3^rd place overall.  This automatically qualifies the Sr. Girls team for Regionals.  They will play next week at the Valley View Country Club.
