Posy Summers Special Education

I have been a teacher for the last 27 years, and have taught at different grade levels K-8.  I have been the coordinator of a Gifted Program and have also taught English as a Second Language. 
Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a Director of Administrative Services in Phoenix, AZ., having a degree in Business Management and a Masters in Christian Counseling.  While this work was enjoyable, I was ready for a change.
My husband of 36 years and I moved back from Arizona 14 years ago and came to work for the Gentry School District. This area had been his home and he still had family here.  Our children, (both grown) live and work far away, but we remain a close family and stay in touch, sometimes daily. Our greatest pride and joy is our granddaughter.  My favorite role now is that of Nana.
