 Tardies and Early Check-Outs interrupt instruction time.  Students should arrive at school in time for the students to get to the classroom and be seated by 8:00 a.m. Students should stay in class until school is dismissed at 3:00 p.m.  It is important that all students get to school on time and stay for the entire day. 

Kindergarten 2008-2009 Registration has begun.  Enrollment packets are available in the office.

Kindergarten ~ 11:00 a.m.  First Grade ~ 11:30 a.m.  Second Grade ~ 12:00 p.m.

LUNCH - Ground beef & macaroni, corn, fruit, graham crackers & milk

Thursday

BREAKFAST - Cinnamon toast, applesauce, juice & milk

LUNCH - Baked turkey, macaroni & cheese, green beans, pears, bread & milk

Friday

BREAKFAST - Sausage gravy, biscuit, juice & milk

LUNCH - TRACK & FIELD DAY - students will be bringing sack lunches

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

 Please arrange visits with your child's teacher through e-mail or the office so that the teacher can set aside a time that won't interrupt instruction time. 

 If your child is absent, please notify the office by calling the office at 479-736-2380 or sending a note with your child upon his/her return to school.  If your child sees a doctor, dentist or other health care provider, please get a note for your child's file. 

 Please discuss in advance with your children what you expect them to do if school has to be released early due to inclement weather or any other unexpected reason. In addition, please let the teacher know.  The telephones are very busy during these times and it can be difficult for a parent to reach the office by phone. 

 Gentry Primary School collects BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION and recycles ALUMINUM CANS.  $800.00 has been raised so far this year for our library's Accelerated Reader Program.  Way to go... keep those box tops & cans coming! 

 Gentry Schools Technology Department recycles INKJET CARTRIDGES.
