MISSION STATEMENT
Gentry Middle School, in partnership with parents and community, will provide a safe,
standards-based, educational program that will enable adolescents to become
successful and adaptable students and citizens.
PARENTS PLEASE BE
AWARE OF THE STATE LAW ACT 1220 CONCERNING PROVIDING FOOD FOR YOUR
CHILD. ACCORDING TO STATE LAW, NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO
BRING FOOD TO SCHOOL FOR ANY STUDENT OTHER THAN THEIR OWN.

Girls/Guys
Night Out Canceled
Due
to the busy schedules of soccor, softball, baseball, basketball, and
the
many extra-curricular activities that our students are involved in,
we
have
decided to cancel the Girls Night Out (Mother/Daughter Night, May 6
)
and
the Guys Night Out (May 15). We will look at rescheduling this at
the
beginning
of the 2008-2009 school year. If you have any questions or
suggestions
for scheduling this for next year call Kaye Cripps, Parent
Involvement,
736-8562.
